Bloomsbury Football
Ben Barbour is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Chief of Staff & Operations at Bloomsbury Football, where responsibilities include managing finance functions and overseeing day-to-day operations aligned with a five-year strategy. Previously, Ben held the role of Finance & Operations Manager at the same organization, managing a £2.5m budget and contributing to impactful strategic planning. Ben's experience also includes freelance video editing for YMU and founding a video production company, Snap VideoProduction. As the founder and head coach of Stalbridge Stars FC, Ben engaged over 120 children through football courses. Other roles include internships in sports management and performance analysis, alongside work as a factory worker during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ben holds a degree in Economics & Economic History from The University of Edinburgh and educational experience from Westminster School and a German language school in Berlin.

Bloomsbury Football Foundation is a registered charity that is changing the game for young people in London, using the power of football to improve mental and physical health, foster social cohesion and teach valuable life skills to over 5,000 young people a week. Bloomsbury’s mission is to provide every young person in London with the opportunity to access high-quality football training, and the charity has a financial model that means no one is turned away, regardless of background. Currently, 50% of Bloomsbury participants receive free school meals, 55% are from ethnic minority backgrounds, 1,500+ girls play with Bloomsbury every week and 95% of participants feel more confident & happier after playing with Bloomsbury. We currently operate in the London Boroughs of Camden, Westminster, Islington, Kensington & Chelsea, Brent, Barnet, City of London and Tower Hamlets with the ambition to scale across London and beyond.
