Grace Paul has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Grace is currently employed as the Editorial Director at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Creative and Content Manager at Dishoom from 2021 to 2023.

Before their role at Dishoom, they had a freelance career from 2019 to 2021, where they worked on projects such as 'Comfort MOB' (Hachette) and ghost wrote a 'Sunday Times' bestseller cookbook for Penguin Random House. Grace also wrote several books for various publishers including 'The Ultimate Guide to Working from Home' (Hachette), 'The Urban Vegetable Patch' (Hardie Grant), 'The Little Book of Lizzo' (Hachette), and 'The Box of Luck' (Laurence King Publishing).

Grace Paul began their career in 2014 at Penguin Random House UK, where they worked as an Editorial Assistant at Ebury. During their time at Penguin Random House, they provided administrative and editorial support to three editorial directors and pitched and commissioned trend-led IP projects.

In 2016, they joined Hachette Book Group as an Assistant Editor at Headline (Non-Fiction) and later held roles such as Editor, Senior Commissioning Editor, and Commissioning Editor. At Hachette, they commissioned and edited a wide range of commercial non-fiction, managed high-profile authors, and played a role in idea generation and IP projects.

Throughout their career, Grace Paul has garnered extensive experience in editing, project management, commissioning, and marketing in the publishing industry.

Grace Paul attended Lancaster University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a BA in English Literature and Italian Studies. In August 2021, they obtained a certification in Social Media Marketing: Strategy and Optimization from LinkedIn.
