Jennifer James

Jennifer James has a diverse work experience in financial operations and reporting. Jennifer is currently the Head of Financial Operations at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, starting in July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at We Are Social as the Group Financial Controller from August 2021 to July 2023 and as the Global Reporting Manager from October 2018 to July 2021. Jennifer also has experience at ED&F Man, where they served as the Divisional Reporting Accountant from August 2017 to September 2018 and as the Financial Accountant from September 2015 to July 2017. Jennifer began their career at Deloitte, where they worked as an Assistant Manager from September 2013 to August 2015 and as an Associate from September 2011 to August 2013.

From 2011 to 2014, Jennifer attended ICAEW where they obtained an ACA degree. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2011, they studied at Newcastle University and earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. In addition to their formal education, Jennifer obtained a certification in Professional Communication: Business Writing and Storytelling from The Economist in December 2022.
