Ros Pyne

Ros Pyne has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Ros currently serves as the Global Director of Research and Open Access at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, starting in February 2021. Before that, they held various roles at Springer Nature, including Director of Open Access Books & Book Policies from January 2019 to January 2021, Head of Policy & Development for Open Research from October 2016 to December 2018, and Research & Development Manager for Open Research from May 2015 to September 2016. Prior to Springer Nature, Ros worked at Nature Publishing Group as a Research & Development Manager for Open Research from June 2014 to May 2015. Finally, they started their publishing career at Palgrave Macmillan, where they held several roles, including Senior Digital Development Editor and Senior Publishing and Business Development Editor for Journals. Ros'stenure at Palgrave Macmillan spanned from July 2007 to June 2014.

Ros Pyne attended the University of Cambridge from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Master of Arts (MA) in English. The field of study during their time at Cambridge was English. In 2005, Ros Pyne pursued further education at King's College London, completing a Master of Arts (MA) in English with a specialization in Early Modern.
