Dr. Julian Wichmann

Dr. Julian Wichmann is currently the CEO of Algea Care, Germany's leading platform for medical cannabis & CBD treatment. Dr. Julian is also a Co-Founder of Bloomwell Group, a patient centric D2C approach focused on a revolutionizing streamlined customer journey. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director & Co-Founder of Voxel Ventures, an early-stage Micro VC, investing globally into promising digital health startups. Dr. Julian was also an Advisor & Investor at Segmed, Inc., a secure, cloud-based platform that provides a one-stop-shop for medical AI companies. In 2019, they were a Consulting Clinical Expert and Medical Affairs Manager Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Medical Affairs Lead Artificial Intelligence Products at Siemens Healthineers. In 2018, they were the Chief Medical Officer at Smart Reporting GmbH. From 2012-2014, they were the Section Chief of Cardiovascular Imaging, Head of Computed Tomography Research, and Radiologist at Goethe University. In 2014, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Medical University of South Carolina. From 2007-2012, they were a Freelance Web Designer, teaching himself HTML, CSS, PHP, and some mySQL and designing multiple websites for doctors & small businesses.

Dr. Julian Wichmann obtained their Doctor of Medicine - MD from Goethe University in 2011, after studying Medicine from 2004-2011. In 2018, they obtained Board Certified Radiologist certification from Landesärztekammer Hessen.
