Pedro Reis

Pedro Reis has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering field. Pedro began their career in 2012 as a Photo Equipment Technician at Olympus Service Facility Portugal. Pedro then moved to Martifer Solar as an O&M Engineer in the same year. In 2013, they were hired as a Hardware Engineer at SRAM, LLC, where they lead a development team of industrial machinery and created MES software, drivers and vision quality control for bicycle components. In 2018, they took on the role of Project Engineer at Active Space Automation. In 2019, they became Co-Founder of PLAI, a company that aims to bridge the gap between agriculture and technology. That same year, they were hired as a Hardware/Firmware Engineer at Stratio. In 2020, they were appointed as an Assistant Lecturer at Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra. Finally, in 2021, they were hired as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Dalma Robotics and in 2022 they became an Electronics Engineer at Bloq.it.

Pedro Reis completed a Licenciatura in Eng. Electrotécnica - Automação at Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra - ISEC between 2006 and 2009. Pedro then went on to earn a Mestrado in Eng. Electrotécnica - Automação at Universidade de Coimbra - FCTUC between 2009 and 2012.
