Grace Malek

Grace Malek is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in special education and counseling. Currently serving as a Special Education Specialist at Blount County Schools since July 2021, Grace has previously held roles including School Counselor at Oneonta City Schools from August 2001 to June 2021, where curriculum development and academic counseling for at-risk and gifted students were prominent responsibilities. Grace's teaching career began as a Special Education Teacher at Locust Fork High School and Blount County Alabama Schools, focusing on students with special needs and contributing to the establishment of an inclusion program. Additional experience includes working as an Educational Consultant at Dr. DeSalvo Educational Consultant Center. Grace holds multiple degrees, including a Master in Education in Special Education from New York University and an Add On Certificate in Psychometrics and Quantitative Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
