Jonathan Smith

Jonathan Smith has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on financial and administrative roles. Jonathan is currently serving as the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Blount Memorial Hospital. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Administrator at the same hospital.

Before joining Blount Memorial Hospital, Jonathan worked at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, where they served as the VP of Operations and Finance from January 2012 to May 2013. Jonathan also held the position of CFO at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital from October 2005 to December 2011.

Jonathan's career started at Spruce Pine Community Hospital, where they worked as the Controller from May 2003 to October 2005. Prior to that, they served as the MIS Director at the hospital from March 1999 to May 2003.

Jonathan Smith has a strong educational background and has obtained multiple degrees. Jonathan completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Tennessee Technological University, graduating in 1997. After that, they pursued further education and earned an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the same institution, which they completed in 1998. Later on, Jonathan attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and obtained a Masters in Public Health, completing their studies in 2005.
