Julie George

Julie George has extensive experience in nursing, with a current role as Community Liaison RN at Blount Memorial Hospital since September 2008, representing Blount Home Services to patients, families, and the medical community. Prior to this, Julie coordinated end-of-life treatment as an RN Intake Coordinator for Hospice and managed hospice patient care as an RN Case Manager. Further experience includes serving as an RN Case Manager for Home Health and working in a fast-paced Intermediate Medical Unit providing care to higher acuity medical-surgical patients. Earlier in Julie's career, experience as a Nurse Extern at Methodist Healthcare provided foundational skills in patient assessments. Julie holds a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from Carson-Newman University and has additional education from The University of Memphis.
