Emerson Neves

Emerson Neves currently serves as the Programme Support Senior Officer for East Africa and the Comoros at Blue Ventures, focusing on partnership and grant management. Responsibilities include coordinating grant agreements and monitoring progress with partner organizations. Previous experience includes serving as a Programme Executive for the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ireland, where responsibilities included managing program partnerships and ensuring accountability in grant financing. Emerson also worked with the Global Youth Climate Network as a Climate Ambassador and managed projects related to marine conservation with the Marine Megafauna Foundation. Additional roles included promoting women's empowerment in East Africa with the Sister Communities project and conducting environmental assessments during an internship with DPTADERI. Emerson holds a degree in Tourism Management from Universidade Eduardo Mondlane.
