David Ferreira

David Ferreira began their work experience in 2009 as a Researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações. During their time there, they developed a propagation model for doubly selective channels and planned and tested a sounder for radio channel measurements. David worked on integrating the sounder into an RF system and also assembled a motorized system for measurements inside an anechoic chamber. In 2012, they joined Instituto Politécnico de Leiria as a Researcher, where they studied and implemented numerical algorithms for the simulation of electronic circuits. In 2013, they started working as a PhD student at the University of Vigo, where they remained until 2017. David then joined Blu Wireless as a Radio Frequency Engineer and later progressed to Senior RF Engineer and eventually Principal RF Engineer.

David Ferreira received their Licentiate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Electronics and Telecommunications from the Polytechnic of Leiria from 2005 to 2008. David then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Electronics and Telecommunications from the same institution from 2008 to 2010. Finally, they completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidade de Vigo from 2013 to 2016.
