Sophia Zheng

Sophia Zheng is an accomplished entrepreneur and finance professional with a diverse background in technology and risk management. As the Founder and CEO of Bludot Technologies Inc. since June 2018, Sophia has developed a software platform aimed at enhancing local governments' economic development efforts, prioritizing collaboration with practitioners to support local businesses and bolster thriving economies. Prior experience includes serving as a Quantitative Analyst at Aberdeen Asset Management, where Sophia led the development of portfolio management software across global teams, and as a Market Risk Analyst at Morgan Stanley, conducting risk analysis on firmwide portfolios. Sophia started their career as a Research Assistant at the Lauder Institute, focusing on green product innovation and energy prospects in China. Academically, Sophia holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Systems Engineering, along with a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
