Katie Powers

Katie Powers, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Katie is currently the Chief People Officer at Blue Alliance IT since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Blue Alliance IT (formerly Path Forward) from February 2021 to April 2023.

Before joining Blue Alliance IT, Katie held multiple roles within Path Forward, including Senior Director of Human Resources from October 2019 to February 2021, Director of Human Resources from December 2016 to October 2019, Director of Patient Access from June 2017 to May 2018, Human Resources Manager from January 2014 to December 2016, Problem Manager from August 2013 to January 2014, and Client Advocate from January 2012 to August 2013.

Additionally, Katie worked as the Vice President of Human Resources at Tier1MRO from October 2020 to April 2023. Katie started their career at MCCC SPORTSWEAR, INC as an Account Manager from May 2009 to January 2012, and prior to that, they were a Manager at Pizazz Studio Inc. from July 2004 to May 2009.

Katie Powers, SHRM-SCP, obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts, 2-D from the University of Cincinnati, from the year 2003 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they have also earned the certification of SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in May 2016. Furthermore, they obtained the SHRM California Law HR Specialty certification from SHRM in December 2018.
