Jennifer Harkness

Jennifer Harkness has extensive experience in the media industry. Jennifer started their career as a Production Executive at Global Television Network, where they worked from 2000 to 2003. Later, they served as the Executive Director at Achilles Media, specifically for the Banff World Media Festival, from 2005 to 2008. Following that, they worked as a Content Producer at Brunico Communications for the KidScreen Summit from 2008 to 2010. Jennifer then joined Temple Street Productions as the Head of Development, Factual Entertainment from 2010 to 2012. Subsequently, they co-founded Jumpwire Media LLC in 2012 and provided revenue generating strategies for clients until 2015. From 2015 to 2019, Jennifer worked at Cream Productions as the SVP of Development and Sales, delivering award-winning content for TV and digital platforms. Currently, they are the SVP of Factual Entertainment and Production at Blue Ant Media, responsible for creating and distributing content in various genres.

Jennifer Harkness holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Western University. In 1999-2000, they attended the Canadian Film Centre for a film lab on producing. Additionally, from 2012-2013, they studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and obtained a degree in Holistic Nutrition.
