Sam Linton

Sam Linton has an extensive work experience in the media industry. Starting in 1986 as an intern at ELLE Magazine UK's fashion and beauty department, they later worked as a story producer for CTV Canada AM and CTV National News. In 1994, they joined Discovery Channel Canada as a director and producer, and they continued in various roles within the company until 2004. From 2004 to 2006, Sam was the Director of Development at RTR Media Inc., and then they served as the SVP of Factual Programming at Cineflix from 2006 to 2009. Sam briefly worked as the Acting Director of Factual Content at History Televison in 2010 before becoming a Vice President and Executive Producer at RTR Media Inc. in 2011. In 2013, Sam joined Blue Ant Media, where they held the positions of VP and Head of Original Content, and currently, they are the VP of Production and Development for Global Media.

From 1986 to 1989, Sam Linton attended Ryerson University and earned a BAA degree in Journalism.
