Aurelio González is an experienced engineering professional with significant expertise in the development of electric and hybrid vehicle technologies. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Blue Arc™ EV since February 2023, Aurelio directs the technical development of new EV products, focusing on powertrain, thermal software, and electrical architectures. Prior roles include Electrical Testing and Controls Manager at XL Fleet (now Spruce Power), where Aurelio oversaw electrical, testing, and controls teams, and Principal Controls Engineer at AVL, leading R&D for electric powertrain control systems. Additionally, Aurelio has held senior positions in control systems engineering at Protean Electric Ltd and served as Director at Hurakan Ltd, specializing in systems engineering and electrical power electronics. Educationally, Aurelio earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of Manchester.
