Hyrum Smith is the Managing Partner at Blue Barn Wealth, LLC, providing fee-only investment management and financial planning services to individuals and households. He previously owned his own financial planning office before joining Blue Barn Wealth. Hyrum is also a Professor of Residence at Utah Valley University, specializing in Retirement and Tax Planning. With a background in accounting and a PhD in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University, he has a strong foundation in finance and wealth management. In the past, he has worked at Albertsons and KPMG, gaining valuable experience in treasury management and accounting. His mission is to help individuals lead a more intentional and meaningful life through financial planning.
