Alex Oesterle has had a diverse range of work experience. From 2009 to 2014, they worked as a Research Intern at the University of Colorado at Boulder, a Marketing Intern at Qdoba Restaurant Corporation, an Account Executive at Campus Publishers, a Mutual Fund Accountant at Alps Funds Inc., a CMO and Director of Finance and Operations at StacheTATS, LLC, President at Denver Habitat Young Professionals, and Chief Executive Officer at Blue Bear Creative - A Social Media Minded Digital Agency Targeting Millennial Consumers. From 2016 to present, they have been the Show Host at Food Marketing Nerds. During their time at Blue Bear Creative, they helped CPG and restaurant brands engage young consumers. As President of the Denver Habitat Young Professionals, they recruited and structured a leadership team for the Denver chapter and has set and executed a plan of action to reach fundraising and membership goals. At StacheTATS, LLC, they appeared on Discovery Channel’s Billy Bob’s Gags to Riches to successfully negotiate and secure investment from Jonah White of Billy Bob Products. Alex also developed the brand, specifically amongst the millennial generation, through all company content, strategic licensing, and product development. At Alps Funds Inc., they compiled and distributed cash flow projections, daily, monthly, and year end reports for funds ranging from $100 million to over four billion dollars of assets under management.
Alex Oesterle attended the Colorado School of Mines from 2007 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Biochemical Engineering. Alex then attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics. Prior to this, they attended Doherty HS.
