Drew Burch

Andrew Burch is an accomplished executive in the life sciences and biopharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Primrose Bio since September 2025. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Maravai LifeSciences, where responsibilities included President of Nucleic Acid Production and EVP of Nucleic Acid Products. Prior to that, Burch held multiple president positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, overseeing areas such as Softgels, Instrument and Enterprise Services, Strategic Initiatives, and Drug Product in Europe. Burch also has a strong finance background, having worked as VP of Strategy and Business Development at Barclays Capital, and as Head of Healthcare M&A at both Barclays and Lehman Brothers. Burch began a career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch, achieving the role of Managing Director. Burch holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Yale University.
