Benjamin C. Brewer

Benjamin C. Brewer has a diverse work experience. Benjamin started working at Blue Bottle Coffee in 2009 as a Lead Barista, and later became a Trainer and a Production Roaster. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as the Training Department Manager before being promoted to Quality Control Manager. In 2014, Benjamin became the Director of Quality Control, where they managed Quality Control Specialists and systems to maintain and improve quality standards for Blue Bottle coffee products. Prior to their time at Blue Bottle Coffee, Benjamin worked at Walker and Associates as a Field/Lab Technician from 2001 to 2006.

Benjamin C. Brewer earned an Associate's degree from City College of San Francisco between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they attended Laney College from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn in 2020 and became a "Licensed Q Grader" from the Coffee Quality Institute in April 2017.
