Erik Hoonhorst

Erik Hoonhorst is an experienced sales and business development professional with a strong background in the packaging industry. Currently serving as the European Sales Manager at Blue Box Partners since May 2023, Erik has previously held various roles at Smurfit Kappa from November 2003 to August 2022, including European Account Director and European Business Development Manager, where significant volume growth and value creation for PAN European customers were achieved. Earlier in the career, Erik worked as a European Stainless Steel Product Specialist at Metron Technology, contributing valuable insights and support to the sales team in the semiconductor sector. Erik holds an MBA from NCOI Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
