Sean Lantto

Sean Lantto is a Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer at Blue Canyon Technologies, beginning in May 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineer at KBR, Inc., and Robotic Systems Engineer at SAIC, where contributions were made to the Mars sample return project. Sean previously worked as a Systems Engineer at Redwire Space, focusing on advancing in-space manufacturing, and as a Systems Engineer at Made In Space, Inc. Before these positions, Sean served as a Navigation Systems Engineer at Collins Aerospace and as a Graduate Research Assistant at West Virginia University, developing precise orbit determination methods. Sean’s early career includes internships at the Air Force Research Laboratory and WV Robotic Technology Center, as well as experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at West Virginia University. Sean holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from West Virginia University.
