Tanya Mittal

Tanya Mittal is a seasoned aerospace engineer currently serving as a Component Systems Engineer at Blue Canyon Technologies since May 2021, focusing on systems engineering for satellite components including Torque Rods and Sun Sensors. Previous experience includes roles as a Mechatronics Engineer at Blue Canyon Technologies, where responsibilities encompassed design, integration, and qualification testing of various electromechanical systems, along with an internship at Made In Space, Inc. focusing on environmental control analysis in microgravity. Tanya has also held positions as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Wisk and has contributed to undergraduate research projects, showcasing a robust background in aerospace engineering and diverse technical skills. Educationally, Tanya holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University, complemented by several internships and leadership roles in organizations like SEDS and the Brooke Owens Fellowship.
