Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson, PMP, has extensive experience in both academia and the corporate sector. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at UAB School of Engineering since August 2014, Chris collaborates with faculty in the IEM Masters program to empower clients as future leaders in business. As a Strategy Consultant Technical Advisor at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama since June 1992, responsibilities include representing organizational interests in Health Information Technology Standards. Previous roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama also encompass IT Management, Cobol Programming, and Server Engineering. Prior to this, Chris worked as an Automation Engineer at Prosoft Engineering, focusing on automation solutions for the US Tubular Pipe Mill. Chris holds a Master's Degree in Information Engineering Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, both from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
