April Harrell-Devine

April Harrell-Devine serves as the Senior HR Director for Enterprise Shared Services and Employee Relations at Florida Blue, a position held since June 2012. In this role, April leads the employee relations function and regional HR presence throughout Florida, focusing on employee engagement, risk management, and developing programs to enhance employee retention and organizational effectiveness. Prior to Florida Blue, April held various positions at Blue Cross and Blue Shield from 1990 to 2012, including Senior Director of Human Resources, where strategic consulting and business strategy development were primary responsibilities. Additional roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield encompassed project management in human organization performance and HR generalist duties. April holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Corporate Communications from Valdosta State University.
