Ruth Vandegrift Atwood

Ruth Vandegrift Atwood, PMP, CSM, and SAFe 5 Agilist, serves as an IT Manager and Data Enablement Program Lead at Florida Blue since May 2019, overseeing various data management initiatives. Previous roles at Southeastern Grocers, EverBank, and Florida Blue involved significant project management responsibilities in IT, focusing on store systems, regulatory projects, and delivery systems. Ruth's earlier experience includes project management consultancy for enterprise data warehouse projects and environmental information systems at organizations such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida, Nationwide Financial Network, and American Electric Power. Ruth holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Chemistry from Immaculata University and has a solid background in program and portfolio management from the State of Ohio.
