Brandon Thompson

Brandon Thompson has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Brandon currently serves as the President of Cobalt Health Solutions at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City. Prior to this, they held the role of AVP of Growth Strategy at Humana from 2016 to 2021, and also served as the Regional CFO of the Central Region during that time. Before joining Humana, they worked at SKYGEN USA as the Director of Program Management from 2010 to 2016. Brandon's career began at Quintiles, where they held the position of Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS) Associate Program Manager from 2006 to 2010.

Brandon Thompson has obtained a BS degree in Healthcare Administration and a BS degree in Management - Finance from Park University. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired several certifications including "Managing Your Anxiety While Presenting" from LinkedIn in May 2020, "HelixPLAN Facilitation" from The Helix Group, Inc. in March 2016, and "Six Sigma - Lean Black Belt" from MSI.
