Jennifer Atkins is an accomplished healthcare executive currently serving as the VP Chief Network Officer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City and as Founder & CEO of Songbird Consulting LLC, providing expertise in payer and provider value-based care innovation. With extensive experience in managed care strategy, Jennifer has held senior leadership positions at Advocate Aurora Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, alongside roles at Anthem, Inc. and Mercy Health, where responsibilities included payer contracting and managed care operations. Jennifer is an active member of the Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation and holds an MBA in Finance from The University of Toledo and a BA in English and History from Bowling Green State University.
