Stacy Murphy

Stacy Murphy, PHR, has a diverse work experience in human resources. In their current role as Lead Human Resources Recruiter at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, they partner with various leadership levels to recruit talent for different areas of the business and advises on best hiring practices. Prior to this, Stacy worked as a Talent Acquisition Consultant at The University of Kansas Health System, where they specialized in recruiting IT and informatics professionals. Stacy also served as a Talent Acquisition Recruiter at KVC Health Systems, managing large volume recruitment efforts and strategic initiatives. Additionally, Stacy has experience as a Regional Community Resource Specialist and an Intake Coordinator at KVC, where they engaged with the community, recruited volunteers and foster families, managed content for the organization's website and social media, and assisted with fundraising events.

Stacy Murphy, PHR completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology from Baker University. Stacy attended Baker University from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their degree, Stacy obtained a certification in Professional Human Resources from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in December 2017.
