Chad Danford

Chad Danford has a vast and impressive work experience in the field of multimedia design and production. Chad started their career in 1998 as a Producer, Writer, and Actor at Sunshine Deli & Grocery. In 2000, they worked as a Freelance Video Production and Editing Professional before establishing their own company, Chad Danford Productions, in 2005, where they served as the Owner/Operator until 2017. Throughout their career, they held various roles in different organizations, including being a Multimedia Designer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina and MicroMass Communications. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Senior Multimedia Producer at MicroMass Communications, responsible for leading agency video and multimedia work.

Chad also had significant experience at Blue Cross NC, where they held several positions, including Director, Creative Studio and Manager, Multimedia Design. At Blue Cross NC, they demonstrated strong leadership skills as a Team Lead and Lead Multimedia Designer, guiding award-winning teams and overseeing all phases of video, animation, and multimedia work. Chad was involved in producing content for high-profile campaigns featuring celebrity spokespeople. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication in 2008-2009.

Furthermore, Chad Danford has exhibited their expertise in multimedia editing, post-production, and project management as a Multimedia Editor at Missy McLamb Photographers. Chad Danford earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Theater from the State University of New York at Fredonia, graduating in 1996. Chad then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing their studies in 2005. Prior to their higher education, Chad attended Amherst Central High School. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications including Certified Practitioner of Human-Centered Design from LUMA Institute in October 2022 and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in December 2021.
