Cheryl Parquet

Cheryl Parquet has over 19 years of work experience in various roles. Cheryl began their career at Pulte Homes in 1999 as a Land Administrator. In 2004, they moved on to Shea Homes where they worked as an Office Manager. In 2008, Cheryl joined Blue Cross NC and progressed through multiple roles. Cheryl started as a Community Relations Project Manager Associate and later became a Community Relations Program Manager. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Community Relations Senior Program Manager, responsible for managing corporate giving and maintaining positive community relationships. Currently, Cheryl serves as the Director of Community Engagement and Marketing Activation at Blue Cross NC, leading a team to enhance the company's reputation through strategic community investments and partnerships.

Cheryl Parquet has a Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which they obtained between 1993 and 1997. Cheryl also completed a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate Program from Cornell University, and obtained a certification in Non-Profit Management from Duke University. In terms of additional certifications, Cheryl earned the Connection Tilt - Cross Pollinator certification from Tilt 365 in March 2021. Cheryl also holds a Certified Diversity and Inclusion Professional certification from Cornell University, obtained in May 2020, and a certification in Nonprofit Management from Duke University, obtained in 2011.
