Jeff Powell has extensive experience in the healthcare and insurance sectors, currently serving as a Strategic Client Consultant for Student Blue at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina since May 2014. In this role, Jeff oversees 32 accounts with over 50,000 members, generating more than $100 million in revenue, and acts as a trusted advisor to agents and clients. Previously, Jeff held various positions at BCBSNC, including Program Manager for Membership Operations and Manager of Student Blue Operations, where responsibilities included enhancing client satisfaction and managing critical software development projects. Prior to BCBSNC, Jeff worked in customer service and portfolio management at Triangle Administrators and Crown Enterprises, respectively, and began a career in administrative support at Duke University while earning a Bachelor’s Degree.
