John W. Rogers

John W. Rogers boasts over 25 years of professional experience in finance and operations. Currently serving as a Principal Portfolio Analyst at BCBSNC since 2013, John is responsible for delivering monthly cost measurements and developing annual plans for over $100 million in cost centers. Prior to this role, John spent 14 years at IBM in various financial positions, including Financial Analyst and Procurement Contract Administrator, where responsibilities included monthly cost analysis, annual planning, and contract management for substantial annual spends. John began a career in operations with Anheuser-Busch before serving in the US Navy as a Naval Flight Officer, where expertise encompassed aviation safety, counter-narcotics surveillance, and nuclear weapons security. Educationally, John holds a Master's degree in Business from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
