Megan Squires is a seasoned project and program manager with extensive experience in public health and maternal-infant health initiatives. Currently serving as the Principal Project/Program Manager at Blue Cross NC since March 2022, Megan supports health departments across North Carolina and evaluates health outcomes for Medicaid programs. Prior roles include Senior Implementation Manager and Acting Director at Family Connects International, where Megan led national implementation efforts and provided technical assistance for postpartum services. Megan’s earlier positions include data coordination for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and research roles at prominent institutions such as The University of Chicago and UNC School of Medicine. Academically, Megan holds a dual degree in Social Work and Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from Appalachian State University.
