Andrea Cooke

Andrea Cooke, MBA, MHCI, serves as the CEO and Co-founder of The Alliance for AI, a nonprofit focused on establishing a governance framework for artificial intelligence technologies. With a long-standing role at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association as the Director of Legislative and Regulatory Policy, Andrea leads policy development and advocacy for major insurance reforms. Experience includes positions at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine as a Graduate Course Assistant, and participation in Google's Tech Equity Collective. Previous roles include consulting for life science companies at Penn Biotech Group and leadership positions in health insurance exchanges and grant management at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Academic credentials include a Master in Health Care Innovation from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from Howard University, and a BS in Biology from Virginia Tech.
