David Hopper

David Hopper is an accomplished Information Security Architect with extensive experience in cybersecurity and information assurance. Currently serving at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association since December 2019, David has previously held significant roles at UScellular, AbbVie, and Anixter, where responsibilities ranged from enterprise security architecture to managing information security. David's foundational career began at SBC and Reeves Data Corporation, transitioning through various roles including support analyst and network engineer. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, complemented by studies at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and Lewis & Clark Community College.
