Evan Currie

Evan Currie, MSA, has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Evan currently serves as the Business Lead for the Blue Card Modernization Clinical Data Exchange (BCM-CDE) initiative at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. In this role, they manage vendor relationships, negotiates contracts, and provides guidance to management and executive leadership. Evan also has experience as a Lead Clinical Business Analyst at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, where they advised and supported clinical data initiatives. Prior to that, they worked as an Implementation Interface Architect at CareEvolution, Inc, leading technical analysis for HL7 interface projects. Evan has also held various roles at Trinity Health, where they engaged with physician practices, providers, and EHR vendors to exchange data, and managed interfaces for the health system. Additionally, they have experience in health information management and coordinating release of protected health information (PHI) at MidMichigan Health and MidMichigan Medical Center - Gratiot. Evan Currie, MSA, holds a Master of Science in Administration (M.S.A) degree with a specialization in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University. Prior to that, Evan Currie completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology, also from Central Michigan University. In addition to formal education, Evan Currie has obtained certifications in "Being an Effective Team Member" and "Holding Yourself Accountable" from LinkedIn in June 2022 and February 2022, respectively.
