Beth Ginzinger has over three decades of experience in the healthcare industry, holding various leadership roles in well-known organizations. Beth currently serves as the Chief Transformation Officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona since May 2022. Before this, they worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Arizona as the Chief Strategy Officer from April 2018 to July 2022. In this role, they oversaw strategic planning processes and led the development of corporate and subsidiary strategies.
Prior to their time at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Beth Ginzinger was the Vice President Provider Joint Ventures at Anthem from September 2014 to May 2018. Beth was responsible for developing collaborative provider arrangements to enhance the delivery system's efficiency and effectiveness. Ginzinger also served as the President and CEO of Radiant from December 2010 to September 2014, where they focused on cost management and quality-of-care management services.
Earlier in their career, Ginzinger held leadership positions at WellPoint and Ford Motor Company. At WellPoint, they were the Vice President of Anthem Care Management, overseeing key operational areas critical to driving appropriate utilization of medical and behavioral health benefits. As a Healthcare Policy and Six Sigma Black Belt at Ford Motor Company, they drove healthcare analysis, program evaluation, and quality improvement.
Ginzinger's career also includes roles at Medstat, CHI Systems, and Children's Medical Center Dallas, where they gained valuable experience in consulting and nursing.
Beth Ginzinger obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Vanderbilt University from 1981 to 1985. Beth then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business at Eastern Michigan University from 1988 to 1992.
