Wylie Carhartt

Wylie Carhartt, MD MBA has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Wylie is currently working as the Staff VP - Executive Medical Director, Practice Transformation at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona since August 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Child Health and Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix starting from September 2020. From October 2021 to September 2022, they held the position of Market Physician Manager at Crossover Health, focusing on Amazon Neighborhood Health Centers. Wylie also has experience at Mountain Park Health Center, where they worked as a Department Chair from March 2020 to October 2021, serving as a Clinic Lead from October 2016 to February 2020, and as a Staff Physician from August 2015 to October 2016. Before that, they completed their residency at BANNER - UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER PHOENIX and Phoenix Children's Hospital, from July 2011 to June 2015.

Wylie Carhartt, MD, MBA received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Duke University in 2003. Wylie then attended The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University from 2006 to 2011, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. In the same year, Wylie obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from East Carolina University's College of Business. Additionally, Wylie has certifications in General Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and in General Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).
