Del Gates

Del Gates has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on Medicaid programs and community outreach. They have held various managerial roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, including Principal, Medicaid Program Manager, and Public Programs and Community Outreach Manager. Prior to that, they worked as a Community Relations Manager at UCare Minnesota. They also served as a State Public Programs Manager at UCare. Earlier in their career, they worked at NWNL Health Management Corporation-ING as a Membership Team Lead. Del has been consistently employed in the industry, starting in 1988.

Del Gates attended the University of St. Thomas from 2010 to 2011, where they studied Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2002, they pursued a fellowship in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning at the University of Minnesota. Additionally, Del Gates briefly studied Business Accounting at Hennepin Technical Center, although the specific timeframe for this education is unknown.
