Bridget K. McCabe

Bridget K. McCabe, MD, MPH, FAAP, serves as the Senior Medical Director at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island since 2024. Additionally, McCabe holds positions as the Director of the Board of Trustees for both the Seamen's Society for Children and Families and Project Hospitality, organizations dedicated to supporting foster children and families, as well as providing services to the homeless and hungry. Prior experience includes multiple leadership roles at Teladoc Health, culminating in positions such as VP and Chief Medical Officer. McCabe has contributed to the National Quality Forum as a member of various workgroups focused on healthcare quality and equity. With a distinguished educational background, McCabe earned an MD from Harvard Medical School and an MPH from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and boasts expertise in clinical research, patient safety, and public health.
