Kristen McLean

Kristen McLean has a solid work experience background. Kristen started their career as a Law Clerk for Hon. Martha B. Sosman at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court in September 2000. Kristen then moved on to work at Ropes & Gray LLP as an Associate from October 2001 to October 2007. Following that, they joined Combined Properties as an Associate Counsel from November 2007 to October 2014. Kristen then transitioned to Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, where they held various roles including Assistant General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, Director of Legal Services, and most recently, Deputy General Counsel from March 2019 to February 2022. Currently, they serve as the VP & General Counsel at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island.

From 1991 to 1995, Kristen McLean attended Harvard University, where they pursued an A.B. degree in Government. Following this, they enrolled in Boston College Law School from 1997 to 2000, and obtained a JD degree.
