Michael has held various leadership roles in top companies such as Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Health New England, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and CIGNA Healthcare. Their roles have included Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, Vice President and CFO, Chief Finance Officer, Executive Director, Senior Director, Finance Head, and New England Region Controller. With a proven track record of leadership and a hands-on management style, Marrone has excelled in areas such as financial management, medical economics, informatics, trend management, planning and forecasting, provider network management, contracting strategy, and underwriting and pricing support. Their strategies and operational efficiencies have consistently produced bottom-line results.

Michael Marrone received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Management/Economics from the University of Maine at Farmington, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Michael then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, General from the University of Southern Maine, completing their studies between 1992 and 1995.
