Kathy Sonenshein, SHRM-SCP, PHR has an extensive career in the field of Human Resources. Kathy is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Blue Diamond Attachments since July 2022. Prior to this, Kathy worked at Shafer HR Solutions as a Human Resources Consultant from March 2018 to June 2022. Kathy also held the position of Benefits & HRIS Coordinator at The Centers, Inc. from June 2016 to August 2017. Kathy's experience includes working as a Human Resources Generalist at The Marshes of Skidaway Island from September 2013 to October 2015, and as a Human Resources Manager at Maple Chase Company from June 2000 to July 2001. Before that, they held the same position at Sentrol Controls Group from March 1999 to June 2000, and at Qualex from June 1997 to March 1999. Kathy began their career as a Human Resources Coordinator at Atlas Marketing Company from April 1994 to June 1997, and as a Special Projects Coordinator at Pinkerton & Laws from April 1992 to July 1994.
Kathy Sonenshein, SHRM-SCP, PHR, completed their Human Resources Certification from Northern Illinois University in 2000. Kathy later obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of West Georgia. Additionally, Kathy received the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute in December 2017. Kathy also holds the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM, which they obtained in January 2019.
