Chariss Olive has been working in the geology field since 2016. Chariss began their career as a Staff Geologist at Oneida Total Integrated Enterprises (OTIE). In 2018, they moved to ATC Group Services LLC, where they also worked as a Staff Geologist. Currently, Chariss is a Project Manager at Blue Feather, a position they have held since 2021.

Chariss Olive's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science, General from Georgia State University from 2013-2017, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Georgia State University from 2013-2017. Prior to that, Chariss attended Gainesville State College from 2011-2013. Hazmat Certification from the American Portable Nuclear Gauge Association obtained in January 2019, CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid from the American Safety & Health Institute obtained in September 2019, a Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) 40-hour Certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration obtained in January 2020, and an Accredited Asbestos Inspector License from the State of Alabama obtained in February 2019.
