Phil Saksa

Phil Saksa is the Co-Founder & Chief Scientist at Blue Forest Conservation since January 2017. Prior to that, Phil served in various research roles at University of California, Merced from 2008 to 2017. Phil also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Louisiana State University from 2005 to 2007. Phil holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Systems from University of California, Merced, an M.S. in Forestry from Louisiana State University, and a B.S. in Natural Resources from The Ohio State University.
