Tim Ogden has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tim started their career as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps, where they served for five years. Tim then joined Cisco, first as a Systems Engineer, specializing in wireless technologies for the DC Metro enterprise business, and later as an Account Manager for U.S. Federal government civilian agencies. In 2010, they joined Arista Networks as the Director of Federal Programs, leading the development of high-performance data center networks. Following this, Tim served as the Chief Operating Officer at VAHNA, focusing on improving incident response and network security. Currently, they are the CEO of Blue Ivy Partners, where they bring emerging technologies to innovators in government and helps emerging tech companies compete with incumbent vendors through their unique go-to-market model called OPEN. Furthermore, Tim has also worked as a Mentor for Georgetown University's Hacking 4 Defense program.

Tim Ogden began their education at Bishop O'Connell from 1986 to 1990. Tim then attended the United States Naval Academy from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering. After some time, they pursued further education and obtained a Masters of Science in Engineering in the field of Management of Technology from the University of Pennsylvania from 2003 to 2007. During the same period, they also attended The Wharton School. Additionally, Tim Ogden achieved a certification as a Copper Certified Administrator from Copper in March 2020.
