Clare Brook serves as the CEO of Blue Marine Foundation, one of Europe's leading ocean conservation NGOs, where leadership since November 2014 has resulted in a ten-fold increase in turnover, projects, team size, and overall impact. Clare Brook's previous roles include Non-Executive Director at Arcubus, Founding Partner of WHEB Asset Management, and Head of Socially Responsible Investment at Aviva, where a sustainable investment division was established that grew assets to £1 billion in five years. Additionally, Clare Brook has held positions as Vice Chair of the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association, Director of SRI at Henderson Global Investors, and Director of Socially Responsible Investment at NPI. Early career experiences include managing the Jupiter Ecology Fund and Jupiter International Green Investment Trust. Clare Brook holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Oxford.

Known as Blue Marine, this UK registered charity was set up in 2010 by some of the team behind the award-winning documentary film ‘The End of the Line’. Blue Marine is dedicated to creating marine reserves and establishing sustainable models of fishing. Its mission is to campaign against over-fishing and for the effective protection of 30% of the world’s oceans by 2030.
