Nick Hounsfield

Nick Hounsfield is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare and sports, particularly surfing. Currently serving as Director at Arenite Developments and as Founder of One Blue World since April 2024, Hounsfield also holds the role of Ambassador at Blue Marine Foundation and Director at Surfing England, where responsibilities include steering national surfing governance. As Chairman of the Board for the International Leadership Programme with UK Sport since June 2019, Hounsfield contributes to the development of leadership in sports. The founding of The Wave in 2010 reflects a commitment to combat physical and mental health challenges through active engagement with nature and community. Additionally, Hounsfield has been instrumental in The Wave Productions, promoting surfing's positive impact through creative content. A former Director for GB Surfing, Hounsfield played a key role in Olympic preparations and served as a council member at the General Osteopathic Council, focusing on policy and regulatory work. Hounsfield holds a Master of Science in Healthcare from the British School of Osteopathy.
