Joshua Rupert has a diverse work experience starting in 2016 as a Crew Member at DiBella's Subs. In 2019, they worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at Summer's Best Two Weeks, where they built friendships and facilitated a positive camp experience for children. Joshua then transitioned to Penn State University as an IT Service Desk Student Consultant, providing technical support to students and faculty. Joshua's responsibilities grew when they became a Penn State IT Service Desk Student Supervisor in 2021, where they supervised consultants, managed behind-the-scenes tasks, and aided in employee training. Currently, they are working as a Software Implementation Analyst at Blue Mountain, starting in 2022.

Joshua Rupert attended Seneca Valley High School from 2014 to 2018, where they earned their GED. Following that, they enrolled at Penn State University in 2018 and is expected to graduate in 2022. Joshua is pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations, with a focus on Law and Policy.
